YH Training Services Ltd is a leading training provider with over 30 years’ experience of delivering high quality education and training. YH delivers two courses at the Army Reserve Centre, Dykelands Road, Sunderland aimed at 16-24-year-olds.

  • Military Preparation Course (MPC) aims to prepare young people to join the forces. We assist in the application and selection process and also give information, advice and guidance to help learners in pursuing their career aims. We provide the opportunity to  gain Functional Skills maths and English.
  • Sport, Leisure and Exercise course (SLE) aims to provide young people who aspire to work in the leisure industry with the skills, knowledge and fitness levels to begin their career. We’ll be on hand all day in case you have any questions and the sessions will run at 11am, 12.30pm and 2pm. 

The Foundation of Light offers apprenticeships in Business Administration levels 2 and 3, recruiting for various sites across Sunderland, South Tyneside and County Durham. The Foundation supports local businesses to develop their future workforce and up-skill existing staff through apprenticeship programmes in business services and leadership and management.
