Health & Social Care

London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust is committed to improving the health and wellbeing of our local population in North West London. Our vision is to create an integrated healthcare organisation that is recognised locally and nationally for outstanding clinical services, research & education. St Mark’s & LNWUH has a major teaching commitment and we have recently been awarded University Hospital status after being granted membership of the Association of UK University Hospitals. We are successful at what we do but want to continually build and improve on our success in order to provide increasingly innovative services and deliver the highest possible quality of care. We are one of the largest integrated NHS Trusts in the country. Formed in 2014 following a merger of Ealing Hospitals NHS Trust and North West London Hospitals Trust, we are the first Trust of its kind to provide complete hospital-based and community healthcare services to a combined population of 930,000 in the boroughs of Brent, Harrow and Ealing. We have an annual budget of over £670 million and employ over 9,000 staff across a number of sites in our three boroughs, including our four major hospitals: Ealing, Central Middlesex, Northwick Park and our internationally-renowned St Mark’s.

Our Trust is one of the biggest and busiest, and we love everything that comes with that. Almost 9,000 colleagues to learn from and link with. Progression and development across more than 70 different services. Variety that makes days fly by, which all means you’ll build a wealth of experience, fast. And above all, the chance to change more lives through your work – whether in a clinical role or not. If you’re ready to grab every opportunity with both hands, why limit yourself elsewhere?

Digital & Technology:

About Hyperoptic

Hyperoptic was founded in 2011 to shake up the UK broadband market and is now the country’s largest and fastest-growing gigabit network provider. It delivers the nation’s fastest broadband speeds of up to 1Gbps (1,000 megabits per second), which is over 22x faster than the UK average.

Hyperoptic is a leader in “full” fibre optic technology, delivering fibre-to-the-premises (FTTP) not just fibre-to-the-cabinet (FTTC). Its future-proofed infrastructure is bringing transformational internet speeds and connection stability to millions of people across the UK.

Hyperoptic works with property owners, developers and professionals, designing and installing dedicated fibre infrastructure to new buildings and existing developments. It focuses exclusively on urban areas, often in areas neglected by other providers and network builders.

The company has been awarded ‘Best Superfast Broadband’ provider by the Internet Service Providers’ Association for the past six years in a row, and was crowned the ‘Most Innovative Provider’ in the 2017 Broadband Genie home broadband survey.

In Brent, our ethos is simply ‘that a foster carer does not need to have an endless list of qualifications’. What they really need is the experience of working with children and young people in a caring environment. You will also need to have patience, commitment and be motivated to see that child or young person through their individual journey. We at Brent, also pride ourselves on ensuring that our foster carers are fit for purpose and we offer our foster carers a seamless service in terms of support and training that we provide. Fostering is a challenging but making that tiny bit of difference to someone’s life is so rewarding.
