Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) is a business that is growing. Apprenticeships have long been central to JLR’s business and we recruit significant numbers each year. We see Apprenticeships as a valuable and credible alternative career path for the brightest and the best.

We recognise University is not always suitable for everybody and with youth unemployment on the rise, Apprenticeship programmes can provide young people with the knowledge, skills and experiences for an exciting future.

JLR has two types of apprenticeship on offer. The end points and duration of both are different, and so are a result are the entry requirements. The Advanced Apprenticeship has an entry requirement of GCSEs (or an appropriate Level 3 qualification of 60+ credits), the Higher Apprenticeships has an entry requirement of 2x A-levels in specific areas in addition (or an appropriate Level 3 qualification of 90+ credits).

On completion of the training, apprentices will go on to fulfil roles in a variety of roles in manufacturing, product development and other areas around the business across JLR’s West Midlands and North West sites.
