Clarkson Evans is one of the UK’s leading electrical contractors. Operating for over 30 years and in a sector made up largely of sole traders, the company now employs more than 550 staff and has 14 regional branches covering much of southern England, the Midlands and South Wales.

They specialise in wiring new homes and have built strong relationships with all of the national house builders, including Persimmon, Barratt, Bovis and Taylor Wimpey, now wiring over 10,000 new properties a year.

Clarkson Evans’ strong history of recruiting and training large numbers of young people is a key thing that sets the company apart from its competitors. Typically they recruit at least 50 apprentices a year, who follow a unique in-house training programme at the company’s own City & Guilds approved centre. Once qualified, the vast majority of the apprentices are offered permanent positions with the company and encouraged to progress into more senior roles.

They are currently recruiting for electrical apprentices and various other roles at their head office in Gloucester. For a list of vacancies visit www.clarksonevans.co.uk/recruitment
